THE CAPE LOS CABOS (Hardscape)

Los Cabos, Mexico
2015

The exterior design for The Cape Los Cabos is conceived as a landscape intervention that integrates architecture, topography, and vegetation to shape a sequence of outdoor spaces connected to the hotel’s public life.

The project is structured around two distinct swimming pools: a main pool conceived as an amphitheater-like form with dark-toned finishes, and a secondary Quiet Pool, designed and constructed directly within a natural rock formation, reinforcing its secluded character.

The landscape and material palette prioritizes local materials and endemic plant species, strengthening the relationship between the project, its climatic conditions, and the natural context of Los Cabos.
