DENTAL CLINIC
Mexico City
2025-2026
Located in one of the most central areas of Mexico City, within one of the most recognizable buildings in the area, this dental clinic is developed within a space of irregular geometry and limited natural light.
Based on these conditions, the project is organized around a central volume that houses the areas requiring greater control of light and climate, such as the clinic’s service and support spaces. This solid, enclosed volume becomes the central core of the space and articulates the flow of people toward the different spaces around it.
The materiality of this central block exposes carved wooden elements with distinct geometric patterns, which together construct a textured surface that gives the volume character and presence. The rest of the clinic’s program is arranged around this element in transparent glass volumes, generating a contrast between solid and transparent, allowing natural light to pass through and reinforcing visual connections between the different areas of the clinic.
